Your website, your control
We build websites with powerful content management systems designed for real people — not developers. Update your content, publish news, and manage your pages on your own schedule, without ever picking up the phone.
What is a CMS — and why does it matter?
A Content Management System is the engine behind your website that lets you log in and make changes yourself — no code required. Without one, every update to your website, no matter how small, requires a developer. With one, you're in control.
CMS website vs. static website
Without a CMS
Every text change, image swap, or new page requires a developer to edit code files and redeploy the site. You wait days (and pay each time) for small updates. Staff promotions, price changes, blog posts, and event listings pile up in a queue — your website falls behind your business.
With a CMS
Log in from any browser, make your changes, and publish instantly — no technical knowledge needed. Add a new team member, post a news article, update a price, or create a new landing page yourself in minutes. Your website stays current, and your time stays focused on running your business.
What you can manage yourself
Pages & Content
Edit any text, image, or section on any page. Update your services, pricing, team bios, and about page whenever things change — no developer involved.
News & Blog Posts
Publish articles, case studies, announcements, and industry insights on your own schedule. Regular content keeps your site fresh, improves SEO, and builds trust with your audience.
Menus & navigation
Add, remove, or reorder pages in your navigation as your business grows. Launching a new service? Create the page and add it to the menu yourself, instantly.
Images & media
Upload new photos, swap hero images, add team headshots, and manage your entire media library from a simple drag-and-drop interface.
Team & staff profiles
Add new team members, update roles and photos, and remove staff who've moved on — all without waiting on anyone. Keep your website reflecting your team as it grows.
SEO & page titles
Update page titles, meta descriptions, and URL slugs without touching code. We set up the SEO tools so making your content search-friendly is as simple as filling in a form.
Designed for real people, not developers
Custom post types & fields
Generic CMS dashboards force editors to fight through fields they don't need and hunt for ones that aren't there. We model your actual content — products, properties, case studies, team members, events, FAQs, whatever your business runs on — as custom post types with purpose-built fields, making updates simpler and more logical to the end user.
Guardrails built in
We lock down the parts of the site that shouldn't change — fonts, colours, spacing, brand elements — so you can edit content freely without accidentally breaking the design.
Training & handover
Every website we build includes a personalised walkthrough so you and your team feel confident managing it from day one. We also provide written documentation for easy reference later.
CMS platforms we work with
How we set you up for success
Understand your team
We learn who will be managing the site, their comfort with technology, and how often content will need updating — so we choose and configure the right CMS for your team.
Design & build
We build the site so the design is locked and consistent, while the content areas are fully editable. The result is a website that always looks professional, no matter who updates it.
Train your team
Before handover, we walk you through everything — adding pages, publishing posts, updating images, and managing navigation. We record the session so you have it as a reference.
Ongoing Support
You're never on your own. Our care plans and priority support mean there's always someone to call when you get stuck or want to make a change that's beyond the everyday updates.

Take back control of your website
Let's build you a website you can actually manage — so your online presence keeps up with your business.
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about content management and keeping your website up to date.
No. That's the whole point. We configure your CMS so that updating content is no more complicated than writing an email or editing a document. If you can type and upload a photo, you can manage your website. We also provide hands-on training at handover and written documentation to refer back to whenever you need a reminder.
We build in safeguards to make that very hard to do. The design elements — fonts, colours, layouts, brand components — are locked so you can only edit the content areas. On top of that, our care plans include daily backups, which means if anything does go wrong it can be restored quickly. And of course, we're always just a call or email away if you need a hand.
Yes. Most CMS platforms support multiple user accounts with different levels of access. For example, a marketing team member might be able to publish blog posts, while only a manager can edit the main service pages. We set up the right roles and permissions for your team so everyone has access to what they need — and nothing they don't.
WordPress powers over 40% of all websites on the internet and is our most recommended platform for business websites — it's mature, flexible, well-supported, and has a huge ecosystem of tools. For e-commerce businesses Shopify is often the better fit, and for very visual, design-led sites Webflow is worth considering. We'll recommend the right platform based on your specific needs, not just what we're most familiar with.
It depends on how your current site was built. If it's an older static HTML site, migrating it to a CMS platform is usually straightforward — we rebuild it on WordPress (or your platform of choice), migrate the content, and preserve your SEO rankings. If your site already runs on a CMS but hasn't been configured well, we can often rework the setup to make it much easier to use without a full rebuild.
Content updates and small changes are billed at our standard rate of $150 p/hr. Most minor updates take 15–30 minutes — but they add up quickly if you're waiting on a developer for every tweak. A CMS puts those small, frequent changes back in your hands at no cost, and means your website always reflects what's actually happening in your business right now.
